Our principles
Our principles: how we care for you
Ten principles from naturopathy, Ayurveda, lifestyle and mind-body medicine guide every consultation with Dr. Sarang Patil. They are the reason you can feel safe, understood and in good hands.
Our mission
Complete health for all, freely and easily, because health is the birthright of every living being.
Our vision
Sampurna Swasthya means being established in your own self (“Sva”). It comes from balance at four levels: body, mind, society and spirit.
Our goal
Our goal is to help as many people as possible reach complete health through simple, natural means, and to stand by people who cannot afford care.

Nature has healing power
Your body knows how to restore balance
Nature has built an intelligence into the body: wounds close, tiredness lifts, and sleep brings freshness back. When food, rest, movement and a calm mind are right, this ability works even better. Naturopathy rests on this trust, known as Vis Medicatrix Naturae.
How this shows in your care
We first remove what disturbs your balance, then add what supports it: good food, rest, movement and a calm mind.

Find the root cause
Look beyond the symptom
It is easy to quieten pain or tiredness, but if the cause stays, the trouble returns. So we listen to your whole story: when it began, what changed, how your days look and what your reports say. Once the root is clear, the direction of care becomes clear too.
How this shows in your care
Your first conversation covers your full history, routine and reports, so the plan works on the cause and not only on the symptom.

First, do no harm
Gentle and safe first
The oldest lesson in medicine is to do no harm. We begin with light, non-invasive methods and explain the reason for every suggestion. Where modern medical care is needed, we never advise you to delay it.
How this shows in your care
We work alongside your own doctors, never against them, and we never ask you to stop prescribed medicine on your own.

Care for the whole person
Body, energy, mind, understanding and inner peace
A person is more than a body. In Pancha Kosha we live in five layers: body, energy, mind, understanding and inner joy. Modern science also agrees that the mind affects the body and the body affects the mind. So we work on all five layers together.
How this shows in your care
Your plan has something for each layer: food, yoga and breathing, care for the mind, understanding, and practices for inner peace.

Care made just for you
No one-size-fits-all
Two people with the same illness can have very different digestion, sleep and temperament. Ayurveda calls this Prakriti, and modern medicine calls it biochemical individuality. So we do not hand out the same advice to everyone. We look at your full picture and build from there.
How this shows in your care
Try our free Prakriti quiz to learn your body type (Vata, Pitta, Kapha), and we take it further in your consultation.

Doctor as teacher, you as partner
You learn, you lead
The word doctor comes from a Latin word meaning teacher. Lasting health needs your own understanding and your own effort, so we explain what is happening and why, and we ask you to take an active part in your care instead of being a passive receiver of treatment.
How this shows in your care
Every consultation explains in simple language what is going on, why, and what you can do every day.

Prevention and vitality
Health is more than no disease
We would like you to feel vibrant, not just "not sick". So we put as much weight on building health and habits before a problem starts as on caring for a problem that has already started.
How this shows in your care
Even if you feel fine and just want to stay well, come in: we look at your habits, sleep and stress and give you a simple daily plan.

Lifestyle is the foundation
Food · Movement · Sleep · Stress · Connection · Avoiding harm
Most long-term health problems grow out of daily habits. Lifestyle medicine rests on six pillars: whole-food nutrition, regular movement, restorative sleep, stress management, supportive relationships and avoiding harmful substances. Small changes in these make a large difference over time.
How this shows in your care
You do not get a hundred rules. You get two or three small changes that fit your life and that you can truly keep.

A calm mind, a healthier body
Acceptance · Forgiveness · Gratitude · Presence · Integrity
Your thoughts shape how you feel and act, and chronic stress keeps the body on alert. We combine breathing, meditation and the thinking skills of CBT with five inner values: acceptance, forgiveness, gratitude, living in the present and acting in line with your values.
How this shows in your care
Pranayama, meditation, simple ways of reframing thoughts and short daily practices become part of your plan.

Health for all
Easy to reach, open to everyone
Sampurna Swasthya means being established in your own self, and that belongs to every person, not to a few. That is why we share health knowledge in simple language and try to find a way for people in genuine need.
How this shows in your care
Your first conversation is free (limited slots each day) and our articles are free. If cost worries you, tell us, and we will try to help.
